I spent years behind the camera as a photographer. Pet Photography is what brought me to where I am today with training dogs. Years ago I was at my local County Animal Shelter to photograph the shelter dogs to help them get more exposure in hopes of finding them adopters/fosters/rescues. What I noticed was many of these dogs were purely frustrated which manifested into terrible kennel behavior and I felt that they needed an advocate to try and help them be seen in a better light, so not only did that mean better photographs but better behavior and manners. Over a couple of years, I was able to build a trust and relationship with shelter staff , I was able to spend time and work with many of the difficult ,unruly,shut down & unavailable dogs. Although I was not professionally trained in dog training at that point, I had a knack for helping those unwanted dogs become better versions of themselves so that they could make it out of the shelter alive and hopefully their Journey to the rest of their life began with the step up that I was able to provide. I have been doing professional dog & puppy training since 2015, teaching the basic foundation of obedience. The thousands of shelter dogs and pet dogs that have crossed my path have been invaluable in my Journey in Dog Training because they were my teachers & students. My passion for dogs is beyond any other and I am here to help guide your Journey to having a happy a wonderful relationship with your dog{s}.
