I spent most of my life behind a camera as a photographer, but my time volunteering at my local animal shelter changed everything. After thousands of hours working hands-on with dogs of every breed, size, temperament, and behavior, I discovered a passion that felt like a true calling. More than a decade ago, I made the decision to become a dog trainer so I could build a life—and a career—centered on work I genuinely love. I earned my certification in 2015, sharpened my skills by working with other trainers, and had the privilege of supporting a nonprofit program that gave shelter dogs a second chance through a jail-based training initiative. In 2019, I took a leap of faith and launched K9 Journey Dog Training, building a small but thriving business in Orange, California. Now, after moving to Temecula, CA 92592 to help care for aging family, I’m excited to begin this next chapter—meeting new clients, supporting local dogs, and helping families create calmer, happier homes.
